500X PRESSURE SUSTAINING / RELIEF VALVE

The 500X pressure sustaining / relief valve is mainly used in fire fighting or other water supply systems, to prevent the system from overpressure or maintain the pressure of the water supply system. After the fire pump is turned off, the impact of the water hammer can also be reduced. It is also used for preventing water hammer devices in large water supply systems. In addition, a filter is installed at the inlet of the valve control system. Using fluid characteristics, suspended particles with a larger specific gravity and larger diameter will not enter the control system, ensuring smooth circulation of the system and allowing the valve to operate safely and reliably.

Structural characteristics and application

The 500X pressure sustaining / relief valve is composed by a main valve, a pressure sustaining / relief pilot valve, a ball valve, a micro-filter and a pressure gauge. It can be used as a pressure relief valve as well as a pressure-sustaining valve by automatic hydraulic operation. When used as a pressure relief valve, it can maintain the pressure of the water supply line below the set safety value; as a pressure sustaining valve, it can maintain the water pressure of the upstream of the main valve above the set value, and maintain the water supply pressure upstream of the main valve.

This product uses hydraulic auto-control, does not require other devices and energy, easy to maintain and multi-purpose.
